Pyrus Nivalis

The Pyrus Nivalis is an ornamental pear tree that boasts a huge crop of beautiful ‘snow white’ blossom which is the meaning of Nivalis. After the beautiful blossom is over, the pale fruit develops.

Though the fruit of this tree is not often eaten raw, as it is fairly bitter, it makes a wonderful chutney, compote, or jelly and has long been used in Perry making.

We offer to plant these, and many other trees as an additional service. Though tree felling is necessary, the planting of trees is a choice that we would love you to make. Lets us grow a better England.
